Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DexelGames collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our iOS applications and related support channels. This policy applies to all DexelGames apps, including GymCue, OfflineBudgetTracker, and any future apps published under DexelGames.

Data We Collect

  • Basic technical information such as iOS version, device model, app version, and locale.
  • Usage events and performance data to improve app quality and stability.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics used for debugging and issue resolution.
  • Support information you send to us by email, including attachments or screenshots.

Health and Fitness Data

Applies to: GymCue and fitness-related apps

Some of our apps request access to Apple HealthKit to provide fitness tracking features. When you grant permission, the app may read and/or write the following data types:

  • Workouts — completed workout sessions (exercise type, duration, calories burned) are saved to Apple Health.
  • Heart rate — read from Apple Watch during workouts for display in the app.
  • Body weight — read and written for body measurement tracking and calorie calculations.
  • Active energy burned — read and written in connection with workout sessions.

Important

  • Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining.
  • Health data is never sold to or shared with third parties.
  • Health data is never stored in iCloud by our apps. It remains on your device and in Apple's HealthKit system only.
  • You can revoke health data access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

Nutrition and Body Data

Applies to: GymCue and fitness-related apps

When you use nutrition tracking or body measurement features, this data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit nutrition logs, body measurements, meal plans, or body composition data to any server or third party.

Calorie and macro calculations are estimates based on standard nutritional formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict). They are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional dietary advice.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide app functionality and maintain service reliability.
  • Fix bugs, prevent abuse, and monitor app security.
  • Understand feature usage and improve updates over time.
  • Respond to support questions and account-related requests.

Permissions and iOS Platform Data

Our apps may request iOS permissions such as notifications, camera, photos, microphone, HealthKit, or local storage. Permissions are used only when needed for app features and can be controlled in your iOS Settings at any time.

In-App Purchases and Payments

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. DexelGames does not store full payment card details. Billing and refund handling are managed under Apple's payment policies.

Data Storage and Security

App data (workout history, preferences, custom workouts, nutrition logs) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers that store your personal fitness data. Health data accessed via HealthKit is managed by Apple's secure HealthKit framework and is never transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party providers for analytics, crash reporting, and infrastructure. These providers process data only for the purposes described in this policy. We do not share health, fitness, or nutrition data with any third party.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep data only as long as necessary for app operations, legal requirements, and security. You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app or using in-app data management features. You can request deletion of personal data associated with support communication by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where restricted by law. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us for removal.
