This policy explains how DexelGames collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our iOS applications and related services. This policy applies to all apps published under DexelGames.

AI Food Analysis

When you use AI-powered features, food photos may be sent to our secure servers for nutritional analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored after analysis is complete. Results are saved locally on your device.

Anonymised Usage Data

Applies to: apps with AI features

To improve our services, we may collect anonymised food and nutrition data when you use AI features. This data cannot be linked to your identity and is used solely to improve accuracy and quality.

Important

  • No personal information (name, email, Apple ID) is ever included.
  • This data cannot be traced back to you.
  • This data is never sold to or shared with third parties.

Nutrition and Body Data

Applies to: nutrition and fitness apps

When you use nutrition tracking, fasting, weight logging, or body measurement features, this data is stored locally on your device in a private database. We do not transmit your personal nutrition logs, weight history, body measurements, or fasting sessions to any server.

Calorie and macro calculations are estimates based on standard nutritional formulas and AI analysis. They are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional dietary advice.

Camera and Photos

Applies to: apps with AI features

Some apps use your camera to scan barcodes or photograph food for analysis. Barcode lookups use our offline database and do not send personal data. Progress photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.

Speech Recognition

Applies to: apps with AI features

Voice features use on-device speech recognition. Your voice is not recorded, stored, or sent to our servers.

Health and Fitness Data

Applies to: fitness-related apps

Some of our apps request access to Apple HealthKit to provide fitness tracking features. When you grant permission, the app may read and/or write workout sessions, heart rate, body weight, and active energy data.

Important

  • Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining.
  • Health data is never sold to or shared with third parties.
  • Health data is never stored in iCloud by our apps.
  • You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide app functionality and maintain service reliability.
  • Improve food recognition accuracy using anonymised crowdsourced data.
  • Fix bugs, prevent abuse, and monitor app security.
  • Understand feature usage and improve updates over time.
  • Respond to support questions and account-related requests.

Permissions and iOS Platform Data

Our apps may request iOS permissions such as notifications, camera, photos, microphone, speech recognition, HealthKit, or local storage. Permissions are used only when needed for app features and can be controlled in your iOS Settings at any time.

In-App Purchases and Payments

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. DexelGames does not store payment card details. Billing and refund handling are managed under Apple's payment policies.

Data Storage and Security

Personal app data (meal logs, weight history, fasting sessions, preferences) is stored locally on your device. Anonymised crowdsourced food data is stored in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure, which is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not operate independent servers that store your personal data.

Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party providers for AI analysis, product lookups, analytics, and payment processing. These providers process data only for the purposes described in this policy. We do not share health, fitness, nutrition, or personal data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

Personal data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app. Anonymised crowdsourced food data in CloudKit may be retained to maintain our food database. You can request deletion of any data associated with your device by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where restricted by law. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us for removal.
